As most would have noticed graphic prints have been on the rise this season. In fact some would have even noticed that landscapes have begun to take the place of polka dots and weird geometric figures. In May Orlebar Brown launched a series of graphic shorts commemorating their 5th Anniversary.
Orlebar Brown has 12 pairs of shorts in the series, the first five dropped in May. The remaining pairs will drop one by one, every month for the rest of the year. At $295 per pair they’re not exactly ideal but they are interesting!
The photographic images on the shorts have come from Getty Images in West London and are the work of photographers Slim Aarons and Dennis Halinan. So far the photographs are of Monte Carlo, Jamaica, Deckchairs at a pool, a person diving into the water, and the Deep Sea. The next pair in the “5th Anniversary Shorts” drops this month so be on the lookout.
On top of their intriguing graphics 10% of the proceeds from the short go to the Blue Marine Foundation, a UK based charity that is dedicated to ocean preservation and protection.
