Today I came across the latest visual from NYC born brand, Rag & Bone. The video is 3 minutes long and features local skateboarders and New Yorkers instead of models. The visuals are super sleek and remind me of why I love video lookbooks; what I mean is, it’s one thing to see clothes in a studio photograph but it’s another thing to see them in motion. It’s nice to see how they fit and move on a person.
Anywho without further a-do.
“For men’s SS2013 we wanted to do something distinctly downtown and it made sense to us to use real people instead of models. We thought it would be cool to use a group of people who are friends,so we asked a gang of skateboarders we know to take part. It also gave us the opportunity to shoot the clothes in action as opposed to just studio shots.”
