Because I’m interested in the creative aspect of photoshoots and especially how they’re related to the clothing, I always pay special attention to the advertisements in the beginning of Vogue. As I was flipping through the August 2012 copy, I noticed something interesting. Most recently, unusual hair colors as well as hombre have both been popularized through sites such as tumblr and also by celebrities. Chanel’s cruise 2013 and Prada’s ready-to-wear 2012-2013 collection included models whose hair styles reflected this presently popularized style. Below are pictures from both the Chanel and Prada shoots. I found this noteworthy and it made me curious if the younger generation is influencing high fashion more than I had thought.
