With the Olympics officially beginning Friday night it was nice to see the array of USA uniforms including the Opening Ceremony attire.
For the opening ceremony Ralph Lauren kept with it’s traditional prep look to ring in the games.
Up top the athletes wore a navy blue beret style hat similar to a hat worn during the 2002 Salt Lake City games.
On their torso they wore a white button down with a navy blue big pony blazer. The men’s blazers were double breasted and paired with a striped tie while the women’s blazers were paired with a patriotic scarf.
For the legs, Ralph Laure kept it simple with all white pants/skirts and shoes.
Overall, I though the uniforms looked stunning, super preppy but that’s what is expected from Ralph Lauren. They looked regal and sophisticated on all our athletes including swimmer Ryan Lochte (below), who has already won a gold medal at the games!
