The other day I was on Tumblr when I came across this brand LLULO. LLULO was started because the founders thought a lot of retail clothing was overpriced. So independently they created an affordable brand that appeals to the eye as well as the pocket.
The majority of their pieces are made with Ankara, an African fabric. The prints are bright and add a nice graphic without over doing it.
LLULO is a brand that expresses and exudes the strong essence of Africa and its People…LLULO’s mission is to Sprinkle a bit of the MotherLand all over the world and to make Ankara wearable in every way, shape, and form.

Aside from affordable pieces ranging from $8-$24.50 LLULO also functions as a charity working with Echoes of Kora a NPO that donates school supplies to children in Africa.
