I used to be a huge sneakerhead, so once in a while I still keep up with upcoming Nike and Jordan releases. If you were not aware, this past weekend Kanye West released the second installment in his Nike line, the Nike Air Yeezy II. It was released on June 9th at certain retain stores but most likely non commercial chain stores. Both solar red and Zen grey color ways were released on the same day and in very limited quantities. It was released at $245 retail but could have been more because those private boutiques don’t have to follow retail.
I should have did a post on this before it released but it slipped my mind. However, the reason for this post was to admire the design of the shoe. In my opinion, this shoe looks absolutely gorgeous. In terms of materials, textures, design, Kanye really stepped the overall look of this shoe compared to the Air Yeezy I. However, the price for this shoe is too steep for me and it would have been extremely difficult for myself to acquire.
