Taylor Gang, the new black hippies?

Today I stumbled across a shot of the next cover for The Source Magazine. The cover features Wiz Khalifa and Taylor Gang comrades  Juicy J, Lola Monroe, and Chevy Woods.

While I’m not a huge fan of Wiz’s music he definitely important to music culture at the moment. What he’s done with Taylor Gang comes only once in a blue moon. He’s created a movement that is arguably much bigger than his contributions to music.

He’s also quite relevant in fashion because over the past couple months he has drastically changed his style.

Wiz Khalifa went from the regular urban look of loose jeans, t-shirts, and hoodies to a much more refined style including button downs, fedoras, and loafers. However his drastic change in appearance has me questioning his true fashion sense. Is his new upscale, borderline hipster look really his or is it simply a marketing appeal? Hmm…

Anywho I really liked the cover, it’s very hipster-esque and hip-hop at the very same time.
