They Talkin’, They Talkin’ About Folarin

As most of you have probably figured out ASI is a DMV based blog. Since we are based in and around the Nation’s Capital it’s only right that we put on for area artists. One of the biggest artists from the DMV these days is Wale. Ever since Wale signed with Maybach Music Group he’s been everywhere but it wasn’t always like that.

Matter fact it’s funny seeing him on television and hearing him featured on songs because just a couple of years ago he was just a local artist. It’s dope hearing an artist on the come up. I have a lot of respect for Wale’s lyricism and his background in poetry. Anywho here’s his most recent interview.
