Dom Kennedy at Soundstage

This past Friday, my boyfriend took me to Soundstage in Baltimore for the Dom Kennedy Concert. The venue possessed a very chill environment and it wasn’t super packed, making for an intimate performance. Rich Hil, who I amusingly found out was Tommy Hilfiger’s son, along with Boo Bonic successfully opened up the show. Polyester and J305 also performed, along with the man of the hour, all sporting West Side Get the Money Tour beanies. Overall, I was impressed. Everyone was good lyrically and presentation-wise.

Honestly, I listen to Dom here and there but wasn’t a “true” fan. It’s funny how seeing someone in concert can really catch your interest. He gave us a little taste of the Yellow Album, which I’m looking forward to.
