Bluesville Dye

I…I admit I am a clothes fanatic, I could shop and blog all day if my funds permitted it. However, I cannot say I admire the way most garments are made. Today everyone knows about slave shops and the other grotesque conditions some of our favorite items are created under. Disclaimer: this post is not about worker rights, or my own qualms with the way companies handle their business.

Instead it is about a brand that is doing it right, producing beautiful garments with all the care and love they deserve. Not to mention Bluesville uses organic dying techniques which, is a refreshing change in comparison to the chemicals most companies use.

I found this video really interesting because I wasn’t aware that indigo and oxygen produce a chemical reaction. The chemical reaction was really cool to witness on film and magical in a way.
